Abstract
Can humans properly use science? This is the question that is raised by The Watchmen. Every so often a comic book transcends the typical connotation of the comic book and explores more adult and mature themes. Watchmen, one of those rare comics addresses relevant issues and concerns impacting the world. With some unintentional coincidences in the story, the “real world” setting, and the state of the country during its release in 1985, Watchmen is a monumental work.
